This tote was created in honor of my grandfather. As a child, I spent countless hours sitting on his lap, listening to stories of his service—how he jumped from planes as a paratrooper. “I was a Screaming Eagle,” he would proudly tell his grandchildren. In my grandparents’ home, an entire wall was dedicated to his time in service, a constant reminder of courage, sacrifice, and legacy. His unit patch remains one of my most meaningful to upcycle.

The exterior is crafted from an authentic vintage U.S. military canvas pup tent. Each tent is original and previously used, with natural variations in tone ranging from deep army green to lighter shades. Signs of wear, distressing, and character are part of the history and integrity of the material—no two are ever the same.
 
Handles and side pockets are custom made by hand using authentic vintage Louis Vuitton luggage canvas. Because each piece is individually crafted by a skilled artisan—not a machine—subtle variations in stitching and finish are intentional and celebrated. These details reflect true craftsmanship and ensure that every tote is entirely one of a kind.
 
You have the option of adding a customized military name tag. You can add
your last name, nickname or initials. The L. Vuitton is standard and comes with the tote but is also optional. If you would not like this added please note this at check out. The vintage patches will vary using Army, Marine Corps., Navy, Air Force, Space Force or United Arm Forces. If you would like a specific group please specify at check out.
